In her capacity, as Shari'ah Committee, she has advised numerous Islamic Financial Institutions internationally on Shari'ah compliance aspects on product development and structuring, legal documentation, and Shari'ah audit.
Prof. Syed Musa Bin Syed Jaafar Alhabshi
Shari'ah AdvisorProfessor Syed Musa Syed Jaafar Alhabshi is currently acting as Shari'ah Advisory Board member to institutions such as MNRB Retakaful Berhad and Takaful Ikhlas. Now, he has different roles in various institutions, such as an Independent and Non-Executive Director of Takaful Ikhlas Berhad, and as an associate professor at the IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance.
Dr Hanaan Balala

Dr Hanaan Bala is an experienced Lecturer of Law with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. She is skilled in Legal Research, Legal Aspects of Islamic Finance, Communication Skills for Lawyers, and Contract Law. Strong education professional with a Bachelor of Civil Law, a Master of Studies in Legal Research and a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil) focused on Comparative Law and Islamic Finance from the University of Oxford, UK.
Dr Mohamed Cherif El Amri
Senior consultant
Dr Mohamed Cherif has a master's in Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles and a PhD in Islamic banking and finance. He has multiple research publications and presentations in Islamic Finance and Economics and worked at several Islamic Financial Institutions, such as the Islamic Capital Market Business Group, Securities Commission, Malaysia, and Maybank Islamic. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Islamic Economics and Finance Department, at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
